BIO:
Learned about life, love, family, art and basketball growing up in the amazing town of Asheville in the mountains of North Carolina.
College was three hours away in the foothills, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – a little town with a big reputation for great college hoops, and one of the most beautiful and inspiring campus environments in the country. GO HEELS!! Three and a half years were spent in this southern piece of heaven and the other half-year in Seville, Spain.
Then it was up to Boston to experience great food, great people and cold weather. Oh, and marriage and a dog! But four years of the frigid northeast was enough, and luckily marriages, dogs and memories are all portable.
Katy Listwa Design was born out of a desire to continue working long distance for clients in Boston, while also becoming part of the design community in sunny Charlotte, NC. The current business climate here is very exciting even with the ups and downs of the economy. "The New South City" is also becoming a cultural hub and model for urban development with its unique neighborhoods and growing infrastructure.
